about

I was cleaning out a cabinet in the spirituality center where I work when I stumbled upon a lost tape: "Towards a Philosophy of Absence" by John O'Donohue.

I was looking forward to spending the next three days in solitude to write music, and this tape caught my eye just as I was out the door. I am familiar with John's poetry and facilitate with it often at work. I am also drawn to the experience and concept of Presence. Though, Absence...this intrigued me.

Sure, why not? I grabbed it and brought it home. For the next three days, I listened to this tape and I rested in Absence. This set of songs is what I found - some new, some old (bonus tracks).

Presence and Absence speak so dearly to my soul. I hope you enjoy.

P.S. I like to write or draw to this kind of music. Give it a try?
